Pro-heating and Plumbing can keep your home warm and cosy throughout the cold winter season by ensuring that your central heating system does not let you down when you need it most. We are Gas Safe registered heating engineers and have the knowledge and experience to ensure you have an effective central heating system when you need it most.
We provide services to industrial, commercial and domestic customers, offering first class advice and planning that ensures we can solve any central heating system problem you might have.
Central heating systems can sometimes function inefficiently due to a build-up of dirt and sludge in the heating system. Power flushing or jet flushing is a professional maintenance service that thoroughly cleans the central heating pipework, boilers and radiators, removing scale build-up and metal oxide sludge that otherwise clogs the system. A power flush may only be necessary periodically but will improve the efficiency of a central heating system, which can lower a property's utility bills.
Pro-Heating and Plumbing Ltd can provide professional central heating power flush cleaning services to customers experiencing problems. Power flushing is advisable if you are replacing a boiler to ensure that pipework and radiators are clean. When the new boiler is added to the central heating system, it cannot be damaged by waste that will be cycled through it when it’s up and running.
We undertake repairs, servicing and replacement of boilers and parts, which can also be covered under one of our service and maintenance plans – payment can be made annually or in monthly instalments – giving you peace of mind all year round.
Pro-Heating and Plumbing Ltd will also keep your workplace warm with the installation of commercial warehouse heaters, radiant tube heaters or warm air heaters to keep your staff warm ensuring that the winter months will not affect your business productivity.
We provide central heating cover across Shepperton and the local areas of Sunbury, Staines, Chertsey, Weybridge, Virginia Water, Esher, Hampton and Addlestone, and most areas of West London and Surrey.

Due to the dangers of gas leaks and carbon monoxide poisoning, attempting to fix your own boiler is not advised and should be left to certified Gas Safe professionals. If you are experiencing any of the problems, or common symptoms of the boiler issues listed below, then call on an experienced heating company who will quickly diagnose the issues and undertake the necessary repairs or replacements safely.
• Noises coming from your boiler system.
For example, banging, tapping, whistling, or gurgling sounds. These are a sign of the intake of air into the system or possibly mineral deposits that have built up to cause partial blockages within the pipework and settlement within the bottom of the tank. Do not ignore these unusual noises as they are an indication that something is not right
• The pilot light does not stay on.
This is usually a sign that the thermocouple is faulty or possibly a problem with the gas regulator not functioning correctly.
• A loss of water pressure.
Even if only intermittently, this is something that should not be ignored. This is typically a warning sign that water is leaking out from the system somewhere, which could be a concealed pipe or leaky joint, which is not always locatable. Low water pressure is also an indication of the expansion valve failing which in turn will eventually cause damage to the pressure relief valve.
• Radiators that do not heat sufficiently or at all.
This can be due to trapped air, a faulty thermostat, a faulty diverter valve, or simply a build-up of sludge and debris causing blockages that can be easily remedied with a power flush of the system.
• A delay in the time it takes for your heating system to warm your home.
If there is a significant delay from the time the boiler is turned on to that of the production of heat, this is usually a symptom of a circulation problem. However, this delay is also prevalent with the ageing of a boiler system, so it could be a good time to consider a more efficient replacement.
• A higher than usual bill.
Another indication of a boiler problem is your gas bill. A higher than usual bill that cannot be explained by an increase in usage of your heating system, can indicate your boiler is working harder due to a fault and not operating as efficiently as it should, or was designed to do so.
•DO NOT try to fix it yourself.
Whatever you do, unless you are fully trained and qualified, do not try and fix it yourself - WAIT for a fully qualified heating engineer. Any amateur efforts to fix it may make matters worse and even invalidate your insurance claim.
